Just so everything resumes the new ‘look’ which i have been trying to bring up in this version, i am doing a few visual changes to the photogallery application!
Ok another thing i was being asked for was the possibility to allow for custom fields as those CB, where the administrator could define their own set of data they will like to get from their users. This has been included in Joomunity 1.1.beta. But unlike community builder where you could assign multiple fields to multiple tabs you can only assign custom fields to something which i called a social book. You can also grab data from other tables from other components on your site to display in your social book. Any new custom field add to the social book, which does not take data from a different table will be added to the social profile tab in the profile editing section as shown below
Ok what i wanted from this module is to make it work even without you having joomunity installeld. Here are a few screenshots. I will be looking at the possibility of users going even futher to define custom functions to get user avatar, and add their own nested modules withing the login. e.g you could nest mod_joompanel which is a minipanel similar to that which you see on the profile homepage!
